Share a folder on your Windows or Mac computer, then open LocalCast on your phone and browse the network. LocalCast will discover your PC's shared folders automatically. Select a video, photo, or music file, tap the cast icon, choose your TV, and playback starts wirelessly.

On Windows, right-click a folder, select Properties, go to the Sharing tab, and click Share. Add the users you want to share with, or enable sharing for Everyone. Make sure your PC and phone are on the same Wi-Fi network. LocalCast will automatically detect the shared folder via SMB.

Yes. On Mac, go to System Settings > General > Sharing and enable File Sharing. Add the folders you want to share. LocalCast connects to Mac shares using SMB, the same protocol macOS uses natively. Your Mac's shared folders will appear automatically in LocalCast's network browser.

LocalCast supports all common media formats when streaming from PC, including MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, WMV, WEBM for video and MP3, FLAC, AAC, OGG, WAV for audio. If your TV doesn't natively support a format, LocalCast handles the conversion automatically.
